We go to Hilton Head every summer. This Aug. we rented a private home in Sea Pines on Oystercatcher. We%26#39;d love to go back for the holiday -problem is I can%26#39;t go for 7 days, only 5 and I see the place that I normally rent from charges you for a 7 day stay regardless. Does anyone know of another rental agency that only charges for 5 nights or per day? I know the Disney property does (but I want to be oceanfront).I%26#39;d prefer a private home because we could heat the pool -most condos will have their pools closed in November. Thanks for any suggestions.
HIlton Head for Thanksgiving
I would advise calling the major companies. Thanksgiving might be hard because of demand to get a good 5 day rate. If you check VRBO you might be able to find them too.
By the way, in general, it%26#39;s customary to charge a nightly rate, when offered, which is 1/5 the weekly rate. So that%26#39;s what you%26#39;re seeing.
But, given the demand might be down, I%26#39;m guessing you can find a place that might give you a deal.
Also, I don%26#39;t know about condos not having a heated pool then, I own a Huntington Villa in Palmetto Dunes and the pool is definitely open and heated in November.

Islebeback is correct about pool heating. Captains Walk is heated, and I believe most condo pools still are heated.
The major sgencies and many private rentals do part week rentals. check www. Homeaway.com or VRBO.com for private rentals.
Most HH agencies are now showing rentals on Hiltonheadrentals.com

We spend every Thanksgiving at HHI (we stay at the Disney resort, which I understand you don%26#39;t want). I just wanted to mention that lots of places have premade Thanksgiving dinners you can buy. Two are Piggly Wiggly and Signe%26#39;s, however I%26#39;m sure there are others.
