How's the gas situation on HHI?

I%26#39;m hoping someone who%26#39;s been on HHI over the weekend or else a resident can tell me how the gas situation is on HHI. I was planning a vacation there leaving in about a week but I wanted to suss out whether there will potentially be problems with gas shortages in HHI since we are having them at home. It%26#39;s not so much the price of the gas (although that in itself is enough to make me rethink my trip) but the availability of gas. I just don%26#39;t want to get stuck in HHI or worse in the middle of nowhere on the way home. Thanks in advance.

We left there Sat. morning and there was one station that was completly out of gas. Lowest price I saw was 3.91 and the highest was 4.29, but I can almost bet the price is higher by now, we saw prices between 4.99 and 5.09 in Columbia.

hi i am heading to HHI next weekend (oct 3) and called ahead to the marriott. apparently gas is high, but definately available.

i filled up on Friday. Paid $3.57 for regular. I have been hearing that there are problems on the interstates in North Carolina.

Shhhhh...we do not have a gas shortage in the Charleston area. In fact, prices are pretty good.

I drove onto the island from Atlanta on Thursday and was pleasantly surprised to find gas in South Carolina as low as $3.40 in many places.

Regular on the island is $3.41 today.

Last nights TV news mentioned that even Charlotte has a reasonable supply of Gas in all grades.

Enjoy those prices! It is over $4 in some places around my town and there are still shortages. I am about 1 hour north of Atlanta.

I paid $2.92 a galleon today at the Sunoco Station at Northridge Plaza.

Anyone driving down this way through Georgetown - the 3 gas stations just south of G-town (SC) are all at 2.59/gal today!
