Looking for the best pool areas (possibly indoors) for my 7 and 9 year old kids. Trip in two weeks! We%26#39;ve stayed at the Dunes Village and the kids loved the lazy river, but there%26#39;s not indoor pool, just the river. Indoor ';waterpark'; was for toddler-age...
TIA,
KC
October hotel ';deals';?
I%26#39;ve checked a bit and it seems most hotels have amazingly low rates in October! I%26#39;m clueless as to which has the best pool complex - heated outdoor, or indoor.
I%26#39;m grateful for any guidance!

Whenever the topic of indoor pools comes up, I always recommend Compass Cove. Since they have several buildings, they have several indoor pools, rivers, etc. I recommend the Pinnacle building, but they%26#39;re all respectable.
Follow this link, it%26#39;ll download a map of the Compass Cove Resort in CFM format. CFM is just like PDF and can be viewed with most PDF readers, such as Adobe Acrobat or Foxit Reader.

You%26#39;ll see the entire complex complete with 2 sizeable indoor pools. Have a great trip.
The Carribean has a special and all rooms are $89 per night through October
Is the Carribean really nice? I%26#39;m not familiar with it.
Thanks,
KC
The Monterey is having a special for Oct. Five nights for under $300. They have an indoor pool and a free breakfast.
I haven%26#39;t stayed at the Carribean but I have a friend who has. They liked it. I do know that they built a new building with the last year or two and renovated the building that was there. I think that all of there rooms and 1-4 bedrooom condos but they are all 89 a night through this month.

I don%26#39;t see this special on the Carribeans website anymore. I think the you had to book by Sept 30. They do still have some discounts for this month though.%26#39;
Coral Beach which is one of my favorite places to stay also have some good specials for this month.
The Breakers also has really inexpensive rates - but many of the larger rooms are listed as ';8 blocks north';, and it seems to use the amenities we%26#39;d have to go to the main building.
Can anyone compare pool complexes - Breakers, Coral Beach, Long Bay, Dunes Village... it%26#39;s so confusing!
KC
The Caribbean is one of my favorites when we are staying in a hotel. The last time I stayed was right before the remodeling took place a so I%26#39;m sure it%26#39;s even better now.
Crown Reef Resort has on bedroom oceanfront suites for $59/night. We are going Oct 8th-12th.
