So much to do, so little time. This weekend is packed with special events happening on Seabrook Island and the surrounding area. Here are just a few:
Spend Saturday, October 11 at the Lowcountry Bounty Festival on Seabrook Island benefiting The Outreach Learning Center. Saturday, October 11, 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.—“Inside Kiawah’s Finest” a home tour, including three homes at Briar’s Creek. Touted as “The Best Tour of Homes in the Southeast”, it benefits the Charleston Collegiate School. Tickets are $55 in advance and $60 at registration. On Sunday, October 12, you%26#39;ll want to load up the car and head up to Boone Hall Plantation. It%26#39;s time for ';Taste of Charleston';. This event is sponsored by the Greater Charleston Restaurant Association and is in its 28th year of tantalizing and tempting visitors with dishes from over 40 of Charleston%26#39;s restaurants. The events on Seabrook and Kiawah give folks the opportunity to see deep into these gated islands, while supporting important causes. Unfortunately, the ';Taste of Charleston'; at Boone Hall is going to blow my diet completely!
