Dunes Village Resort Questions

We are planning to going to the Dunes Village Resort next week. Which building is the new one? Should we take our own beach chairs? Do the kitchens come with dishwasher soap? Any other helpful information is appreciated.

The Palm Tower is the newer tower. We just stayed in the Palm tower in a 2br angle ocean front deluxe condo and it was beautiful. I%26#39;m not sure about the beach chairs but they do provide dish washer and dishwashing soap.

You will need chairs for the beach but not for the pool area,

I%26#39;m here at Dunes Village right now and plenty of pool chairs at the pool and on the lawn. You%26#39;ll need beach chairs if you venture down that way though as they aren%26#39;t provided. Dishsoap is included as stated above.

Not very crowded at all down here right now. Pretty nice time to visit.

We stayed there last year and you will need to bring chairs. We always take those little chairs that fold and fit in bags and they work great. There is a guy that rents chairs and umbrellas though. they provided dish soap and dishwasher stuff every day but I would take a decent skillet if you plan to cook and some type of paring knife and a steak knife. The skillets are horrible and the only knife to be found was a butter knife. Other than that, everything was great.

I guess it depends on which condo you stay in. We were there two weeks ago and it was fairly well stocked with everything. There were pots and pans, knives and cooking utensils although the quality of them is not the best.

Because of some prior reports I took practically half my kitchen and then found out that it wasn%26#39;t necessary. The one thing with Dunes Village is that if you call for something that you need they%26#39;ll bring it right away.

I took my tea kettle at which my boyfriend laughed hysterically. There was none, only a coffee maker. I was surprised that they had a measuring cup, mixing bowls and a plastic jug for juice. I took my own mixer which came in very handy for the fabulous frozen concoctions I made! No joke there! Lol
