Where to watch a NFL game.

My wife and I are going to MB the week of Sept 20 for our 5 yr anniversary.

I am a huge Bengals fan and they are playing the Giants on sept 21. I was wondering if anyone knows if CBS broadcasts that game as the main game will it air in MB (I can watch in my room) or is there a team closer that would override the game of the week?

If not do you know of any safe bars with NFL ticket that will show any game that the customers want?

Thanks

There are many sports bars in Myrtle Beach, I would suggest Jimigans. But I usually stay in North Myrtle Beach, and Overtime is a great place to watch a game.

Many bars in Myrtle Beach have multiple tv%26#39;s and play show many of the games. I would venture to say it will not be hard for you to find a sports bar close to whereever you are staying that will have the game on.

Thanks Hart1...it looks like your a local. Do you know if the local CBS channel only shows one NFL team every week or do they show the ';game of the week';. (example: I live near Buffalo and the CBS channel always shows the Bills no matter who is playing).

I LOVE Wild Wing Cafe in Barefoot Landing to watch sports. They have huge flat screens up all over the place. different games on different channels and every interacts with you. I remember watching the superbowl there and it was so fun.

Call Liberty Steakhouse at Broadway at the Beach. I believe they have NFL Direct (or whatever the satellite package is). Great happy hour and micro-beers also !

Another vote for Wild Wing Cafe. We ate there in Oct on a Sunday. Three choices for viewing. Inside bar. Dining area and an outside bar.

From our table in dining area we had view of maybe five TVs showing at least three different games.

Hard part was hearing big cheer or moan from other area and then trying to watch all TVs to see what happened where by who.

Some other posiblilities depending on where you%26#39;re staying.

Bengals fan, huh?

There%26#39;s a great little sports bar in North Myrtle, just up from Barefoot Landing. It is called Oscars. I%26#39;m sure you%26#39;d be welcomed there.

If you have trouble finding Oscars, just look for the giant Steeler helmets painted on the building!

All joking aside, the folks at Oscars would welcome you. But, I think your best bets will be a bar with the Sunday NFL package. The suggestions above (Overtime, Jimmigans, and Wild Wing Cafe) are your best options.

As far as CBS coverage goes, the local station is WBTW (newschannel 13) out of Florence. They are not in a ';pro team'; market, so I would assume that they would carry the CBS game of-the-week. As you know, that may or may not be the Giants-Bengals game. I suggest that you call them the week before the game and find out if they are airing that one. Their phone number is: 843-293-1301.

If not, I would suggest Wild Wing Cafe. Since it%26#39;s your anniversary, you KNOW that your wife will want restitution for having to sit through a football game. If you go to Wild Wing, it%26#39;s located in Barefoot Landing, so you can take her shopping after the game.

Browns fan here. Oscars is a big Steelers hangout. Overtime and Wild Wing Cafe are good choices, but they are North Myrtle. I am sure there are many choices down in Myrtle if you are staying downtown.

Here%26#39;s a link that reviews sports bars in the Myrtle Beach area.
