Just wanted to give a quick recap on our trip. We stayed at Kiawah Island thinking we could go into Charleston for day trips. But Kiawah was a farther, more complicated drive (50 minutes) than we thought so only went in 3 times over a week.
We took the Charleston Cooks! Low-Country Cuisine cooking demo and tasting with Emily. It was very informative and fun if you are into cooking or eating. Go hungry. Great way to spend an hour or 2. We also ate dinner one night next door at S.N.O.B. which was an amazing meal. Daniel, our waiter, was excellent and made the meal entertaining and relaxing. My mom commented that the vegetarian meal was one of the best she had ever had in a restaurant. The cheese plate was a great value as well. We also enjoyed the Smokehouse Brewery for lunch. We found some nice art at the Market and enjoyed just walking around near the waterfront.
