Hi, I am visiting my husband in Sumter, SC right now. We spent all last weekend in Charleston with our 2 year old son, and we loved it. We are supposed to go back this weekend to the beach just for Saturday night and Sunday. The weather forecasts say the rain will mostly be moved out by Sunday, but I am worried about doing something stupid and driving into a hurricane??? Should we just hang around Sumter, where we will get rained on and be bored, or should we chance it and drive into Charleston tomorrow, stay the night and hope Sunday is nice? We live in Las Vegas....I have no hurricane experience!

Wait until tomorrow to make your decision. A lot depends on when/where Hanna makes landfall and on how quickly she moves on. We are expecting rain and wind from Hanna in New York on Saturday, so chances are good that by Sunday, Charleston will be fine.
