Hot Dog Joints

We will be in Hilton Head in two weeks and our kids love hot dogs. Are there any restaurants or stands in HH that specialize in this?

There is a restaurant called ';Street Meet'; where the specialty of the house are dogs of all types. It is located in Port Royal Plaza off of Matthews Drive.

Some of the other restaurants who have childrens menus offer corn dogs.

Otherwise check with a local Gas Station.

Thanks for the info Stan. We don%26#39;t make that a staple of our diet but I am glad to know there is a place like that. I%26#39;m sure we will get lunch there at least one day.

Don%26#39;t miss the homemade onion rings and fresh baked pretzels at Street Meet!

Harold%26#39;s Diner also offers hot dogs. They are only open for breakfast and lunch Tue-Sat. Definitely worth a visit.

Just about ever golf course clubhouse in the country will have hot dogs with steamed buns and all the fixings. For some reason they always seem to be the best tasting hot dogs. Maybe its the cooking all day, the soft steamed buns, the crunch pickle relish or maybe I%26#39;m just that hungry after a round of golf... :D

I%26#39;d send you to Coco%26#39;s on the Beach, oceanfront, just north of Palmetto Dunes at the RTJ #10 green, but I think Larry has closed for the season...
