Someone just told me about restaurant.com for discount coupons. Like you pay $3 for a $10 coupon, maybe someone here can tell us if it is a value, there were a couple of restaurants on and in the HHI area. My friend is in New Hampshire and they use it alot in their town.

We have mentioned Mi Tierra many times on this forum.
This Mexican restaurant is a favorite with many locals and is a definate family place.
It is located in the back of Fairfield Square on the north end of the island.

Saraphina: Here%26#39;s a link to the Early Bird Dining Guide for Hilton Head. With a large family, you might want to check out the early bird specials to save some money.

Here%26#39;s a link to a map of the restaurants on the island. You might consider printing this out. If not, as soon as you get to HHI go the Welcome Centre and stock up on their brochures. Everyone picks up the ';dining guide'; which lists tons of restaurants and all their menus and prices. It also has this map in it.

One of the best places I can suggest is the Golden Corral (don%26#39;t think Ponderosa! it%26#39;s not) This place is a buffet and has kids prices. The adult buffet is $10.95 and includes a desserts of every kind you can think of. If you have kids who are picky or you can%26#39;t get everyone to agree on what they feel like eating one night, go there. They have steak, turkey, pizza, tacos, wings, chinese, salad bar, dessert bar with build your own sundaes. Honestly, it%26#39;s a lot of bang for your buck. We had a group of 16 for March Break and we all went there one night and everyone was really impressed. Because they are busy, the food is fresh and plentiful. On the map you will see Bluffton (off the island) on Hwy 278. Look for the Wild Wing restaurant on the map. It%26#39;s on the left side. Golden Corral is in that same parking lot as Wild Wing. The only thing extra you pay for is pop which is all the free refills you want. It%26#39;s not licenced.
Have a great time. Any other Q%26#39;s just ask.
