Restaurant suggestion between Columbia SC and Charleston, SC

Random question but i am trying to meet some friends halfway between Columbia, SC (where I have a quick one day meeting) and Charleston, SC (where they live) and thought i would throw it out to the forum to see if anyone had a reccommendation of a place to try?

Again I know its random but i thought if anyone had a thought it would be someone in this group

Honestly, there%26#39;s not much between Columbia and CHS except for interstate. A ';halfway'; point might be Orangeburg.

try the dining room at the winton inn in barnwell sc or goodland%26#39;s bbq in springfield sc./ both are excellent

actually i just found out that im only flying into columbia but my meeting is actually in sumter (at shaws AFB). im not sure if that changes (or adds) any suggestions. After some looking i saw that Santee (perhaps Clarks or Maurices) would be a good middle point?
