Sea Crest Surf & Racquet Club ??

Has anyone ever stayed at this resort? I am going down with the family in mid August and would like a little more info.

This is the oldest and the units are the smallest timeshare on the island. It is a couple of blocks from the beach, but you have access to the pool and beach of the SeaCrest resort, which is right on the ocean.

You are right across the street from Coligny Plaza a large shopping center with shops and restaurants. A Piggly Wiggly supermarket is located there.

We have owned a 2 BR timeshare unit at Sea Crest for about 20 yrs, visiting sporadically. We are going there this September. We were there about 3 yrs ago, and still feel like they do a good job of keeping the units clean and updated. There are 2 pools, right at the property, but you can walk about 1 long block to the resort and use their pool and deck area. I really like being across the street from Coligny PLaza for quick trips to the grocery store and various restaurants and shops. We are looking forward to our visit and re-acquaint ourselves with the area. Let me know if you have any specific questions about Sea Crest.

Please let me know how your visit went at Sea Crest. I am going in a couple of weeks

thanks

Breezy, We had a very nice week at Sea Crest. THe walk to the beach is an easy 5 minute walk, you have to cross just one street. You will have access to the ocean front pool, and sundeck which I used a couple of days. I also like the heated pool at the complex, as it has lost of shade from trees. We used the clean gas grill for cooking dinner one night, but ate out a lot. I posted a trip report - a week of great restaruants if you need ideas. Coligny plaza is right accross the street and has lots of shops, restaurants and a Piggly Wiggly grocery store. Our 2 bedroom unit was fine, nothing fancy. Very quiet, and well maintained for the most part. I do wish they would upgrade the beds in the master bedroom though. The king mattress is hard. The mattress is in the 2nd bedroom was quite comfortable and newer. Kitchen is small, but adequate for simple meal preparation. For small families or couples, Sea Crest is fine.
