Two events that may be of interest:
1) The Charleston Garden Festival will be held at Middleton Place 10/17/08 - 10/19/08. www.charlestongardenfestival.org
2) The Lowcountry Bounty Festival at Seabrook Island is a three-day festival celebrating Charleston culture and benefiting the Outreach Learning Center at St. Matthew%26#39;s Lutheran Church kicks off Oct. 10 at the Seabrook Island Club.
The festival will feature the Charleston Symphony Orchestra, Charleston Grill chef Bob Waggoner and sommelier Rick Rubel, the Robert Ivey Ballet, Ashley Hall Violin Ensemble, author and humorist Chris Lamb, singer Ann Caldwell and many others. Caviar and Bananas and Modica Cafe will provide edible treats.
The festival begins with a ';Concert on the Lawn'; and picnic in appreciation of its sponsors, then continues on Saturday and Sunday with daylong events that the public is encouraged to attend.
