Bus/Transportion all day for one price???

Going to visit Charleston in mid October and heard there is a bus in historic Charleston that you can pay one price and hop on and off all day?? Is this true and if so may have some details about it please? We%26#39;ll be there 3 days with no car - staying Meeting Place Inn.

Bus/Transportion all day for one price???

The ';Downtown Shuttle'; is what you%26#39;re referring to, and it is indeed convenient and pretty inexpensive. However, historic Charleston is such a small area, most people without walking issues never need to use it.

Click here www.ridecarta.com/home/standard.aspx鈥?/a> for a picture of the shuttle and a link to download a map (suggestion: print this now and mark the location of your hotel and sites you%26#39;d like to see to determine whether you need to use the shuttle).

It looks like there will be a fare change - I can%26#39;t quite figure out what it will be - but if you%26#39;re a senior then be sure to ask for the discount. It looks like it was 9.00 for 3 days so maybe now it will be 10 - 12 dollars. (their phone number is listed on the site)

Again, the distances are not that great and if you enjoy walking, it is indeed better to walk as you would zip past so many interesting things! Most of what I like about Charleston is seen when walking and peeking (into gardens, etc).

Enjoy and Welcome!
