I will be in Charleston for a wedding on October 11th and plan to fly in two days early to explore the city. I would like to stay on the beach one night with several old college buddies (mid-30%26#39;s) but Am concerned that the night entertainment (bars) will be scarce on the beach area. Any suggestions ???

On IOP: The ( Wind)Jammer is open all year and Budiroe%26#39;s has live entertainment for dancing most Thrusdays and Sat too.

Poe%26#39;s on Sullivans Isle is still jammed on the wkds.

Thanks Again !!! As my travel date became closer I was going to start researching any live music events in the city. We are all big 80%26#39;s hair band fans so maybe we%26#39;ll get lucky and someone will be playing in the area over that weekend. Thanks for the info. to get me started with my research.
