Restaurants & nightlife for a big group of Guys

We have a bunch of 40 year old guys that will be in Charleston on a Thursday in October. Looking for good food, TVs for games..Outdoor dinging if possible.....people watching.etc .Other suggestions before and after dinner..

Well Red%26#39;s Ice House meets most of your criteria. The only one I can%26#39;t brag about is the food - unless they have their steamed oyster buckets (where you get a glove, a knife, a bucket, and coctail sauce and put it next to your tin bucket o%26#39;brew and watch the sunset, dolphins, boats, etc. Sure they have a menu, but you won%26#39;t walk away saying ';wow, that food was awesome';. However, it%26#39;s so close to lots of restaurants that ARE good I%26#39;d suggest going for good food and then going to Red%26#39;s for fun/music/etc. Not so many tv%26#39;s since the view is of the boats, etc.

For tv%26#39;s and water views and better food (but it%26#39;s not in a busy dock area so it%26#39;s less ';cool';) the Creekside Bar and Grill is good. The Boathouse on Breach Inlet is also nice - food great but not a bar per se.

ENJOY!

Would you consider taking a fishing charter? Very popular amongst groups of guys. Sorry to stereotype but should we assume you%26#39;re golfing?

Depending upon the size of your ';big group';, you might want to consider going somewhere you can make reservations in advance (i.e. Boathouse @ Breech Inlet).

Most restaurants, even if they don%26#39;t take reservations, appreciate a call ahead when a big group is involved.

Have Fun!

The food at Creekside is not that much better than Red%26#39;s and it has been dead there the last few times I have been.

Off the Hook and Poe%26#39;s on Sullivan%26#39;s both have a lot of people and Off the Hook has a nice TV set up. Neither are on the water, but can%26#39;t beat the people watching.
