Romantic Seafood Restaurant

Hi I%26#39;m looking for an affordable romantic seafood restaurant in Myrtle Beach. It%26#39;s for our anniversary. We want to get dressed up and go out. Not too fancy but a nice atmosphere that is not touristy... Thanks in advance!!

Romantic Seafood Restaurant

Window seat overlooking the lake at Chestnut Hill is quite nice.

Back deck of Joes Bar (weather permitting) is also a good choice.Do not let the name fool you the inside of this restaurant is very nice also.

If you are up for a little drive south on highway 17 check out Frank%26#39;s in Pawley%26#39;s Island. Great romantic restaurant. Request a table on the patio.

Or for a romantic sunset setting try out the Gulfsteam Cafe in Garden City- also a short drive south of MB on 17.

I second the Gulfstream Cafe.

i second chestnut hill. we%26#39;ve been here several times for our anniversary and have been pleased each time.

Just my opinion, but my wife and I thought Franks was over-rated.Prefer The Mayors House down that way.Took some friends there recently and they raved about the fried lobster and filet mignon.

Keep in mind that it will take a good 30 minute drive to get to either of these.

I saw Mayor%26#39;s on restaurant.com. They have a stipulation on using the gift card there. You have to have a 50 dollar purchase. After looking over the menu I wouldn%26#39;t think that would be a problem.I know it will be our anniversary, but we can use all the help we can get so I guess it wouldn%26#39;t hurt to get the gc for there... It sounds delicious. We thought we%26#39;d get all spiffed up...Do you need reservations? It would be on Monday...

Thank you ALL for the recommendations... I can%26#39;t wait!

mmmmm Just saw a menu for Chesnut Hill... now I can%26#39;t decide...

If you really want spiffy you might take a look at The Library Restaurant in Myrtle Beach on Hwy 17 between 12th and 13th Ave N. Too fancy for me but I hear it%26#39;s very good. I really would like to try it some time but I never think to take nice clothes when I go to the beach. http://www.thelibraryrestaurantsc.com/

Asked my friend how much the fried lobster and filet mignon cost and he thought it was about $24.After eating there a nice stroll along the marshwalk in Murrells Inlet with a stop for a drink at one of the outdoor restaurants with entertainment would be nice.

Have been to the Library and found it to be overpriced.Waiters kind of stand there waiting to take away your salad fork and things like that. Also not in a romantic section of highway 17 to say the least.Kind of dark on the inside.

And we do use the restaurant.com coupon at Mayors House.

If you decide on Chestnut Hill make a reservation for a window seat.At the Mayors House we never had to wait but a reservation would not hurt.
