Has anyone stayed at the Sea Cloisters on Surfside? What is the beach like?

The beach has faired real well from the tropical storms we have had this year.

thanks for the reply...........are there any shells found on the beach, here, even small ones ?

And are there grocery stores on this end of the beach?

We were at Myrtle Beach Resort in August, which is very close to Surfside Beach. Our children found plenty of intact shells to take home. Some of them were really nice ones too.

Thanks ';New Jersey'; for the reply.....we have been going to Myrtle Beach, proper, for over 30 years and have decided because of all the crowds there to go a little farther south, next summer. How is the Myrtle Beach Resort?

There is a Kreoger right at the end of Dick Pond road. We stayed a rthe MB resort in May and it was wonderful. Resort is well kept, with lots of things for kids ( and adults) to keep busy and of course the beach is awesome. You will not regret staying there!

Seasheller, the MB Resort is awesome for families. Both the adults and kids can have lots of fun there. Check out my review of the place - it was posted a week or so ago.

I forgot to mention - make sure you rent directly from an owner. If you want, private message me and I can put you in contact with the couple we rented from in August. They were wonderful to work with and were very accomodating.
