We are staying on Mt Pleasant near Patriots Point and plan on taking the Water Taxi over but will be returning too late. Are Taxis readily available for a return from Historic Charleston or is there another transportation option?

Yes, taxis are readily available - may I suggest you put some taxi numbers in your cell phone prior to your trip. Also there is a bus that goes from the Visitor Center directly to Patriot%26#39;s Point for $1.50 I think. (Route 40) See www.ridecarta.com
