Church Bazaars/Luncheons/Teas

I%26#39;ll be in Charleston on October 24 and 25th. Just read an interesting article on the Fundraising Tea for St Stephens Episcopal back a few months ago to benefit their cemetery fund. Does anyone know of any fun church bazaars or luncheons or teas going on either of those days in the historic district?

I have been traveling myself and just returned. Most of them are held during the Spring and during Spoleto. If I hear of any I will respond and let you know. They are a great way to not only get a good meal cheaply but to benefit a worthy cause.

Sometimes some of the churches will have Fall oyster roast etc.

John Wesley Methodist, 626 Savannah Hwy., in West ashley has a ';Pumpkin Patch'; each year. They sell pumpkins of all sizes to support their youth group. It is fun just to drive by and see several hundred pumpkins on the lawn.
