Malibu Pointe Beach Club

We are looking to book a 3 Bedroom Condo in Crescent Beach Section and noticed a special that Condolux is running for Malibu Pointe. Apparently it is under construction and should be done by the time we arrive in June. Has anyone seen or heard anything about Malibu Pointe?

I was wondering if you have heard any more about Malibu Pointe. I contacted Condolux and one agent said it would be open in June and another did not want to gurantee it. Have you booked for June?

I will try to drive by there this weekend, but I would be highly leary of anything that is not open yet for a June booking, particularly if they have said they can%26#39;t guarantee. You don%26#39;t want to have to last minute scramble to find somewhere.

I should have asked what the address was, I ended up going down Ocean Blvd/Ocean Drive on Friday as the traffic on Hwy 17 was pretty heavy. I drove thru Crescent Beach and I saw a few construction projects with signs out front and none said Malibu Pointe. I noted 1 large high rise being built, across the road from the beach, but I did not see a name anywhere, on the corner, maybe 10 stories or so. It could possibly be ready in June, since I am not a builder don%26#39;t know for sure, but I would be surprised. Right now that particular building is just concrete floors, no siding,no windows, so if thats Malibu Pointe, then I might make other plans.

The address is 1706 South Ocean Blvd and it is across the street from the beach. It sounds like that was the property that you saw. We are looking at the 3rd week of June so we might be ok. Realtor said that they have to accomodate us in another condo like Malibu in case it was not complete. Thanks for looking into it HART.

So, I assume it has now been open for just over a year...has anyone stayed there yet and would care to comment or review???

This place has been suggested for our golf trip this year, and am doing my research on it...thanks in advance for any help :)

If you search for Malibu you will find some comments from people who have stayed there. I am actually sitting here looking at the bulding, not much activitiy over there that I can see. It is 2nd row, for golfers its probably fine.
