Myrtle Beach or North Myrtle Beach

We are looking for a place to spend a month or two in the winter. We have stayed in Hilton Head but would like to try another place in SC.

Any recommendations?

Myrtle Beach or North Myrtle Beach

MB and NMB will be big change from Hilton Head. A lot more commercialized with so many things to do within a short distance.

Can use SkyTour to compare beach sections. Use upper left icon to select different areas. The one that comes up first is Cherry Grove in NMB.

Between MB and NMB I%26#39;d go with NMB. Still more large buildings than Hilton Head but far enough off beaten path(Rt 17) it%26#39;s not quite as busy.

I%26#39;d look in Cherry Grove. Can find about all you need at main intersection(Sea Mountain and Ocean Blvd). Groceries, dining and post office without driving out to Rt 17. Still a short drive to all other MB attractions.

Not sure what kind of accomidations you%26#39;re looking for but if I was going for long extended stay. I%26#39;d look at Oceans. Nothing fancy but can%26#39;t beat the location. One block walk to store and post office
