My husband and I will be going to MB in Oct. for our 20th wedding anniv. I would like to go to a nice(non-seafood)dinner to celebrate. We love Carolina Roadhouse but not the atmosphere I am looking for. Does anyone have a restaurant in mind that would be nice quiet, romantic atmosphere? We like Italian, steak not seafood or chinese. Thanks for any suggestions.
restaurant for romantic dinner
There are tons of restaurants along the Grand Strand
my suggestions:
Papa%26#39;s Rest. on Ocean Blvd off of 21st Ave N. ( its a romantic setting with candlelight at the table. Has the best prime rib i%26#39;ve ever had)
The Library - Which is a really nice upscale rest.
Rioz - a Brazillian Streakhouse
There are really to many to name. I hope other people give you some suggestions.

Where are you staying on the beach? I have a few ideas, depending on where you will be. We%26#39;ll be there in October too and are getting anxious!

We are staying at Oceans One but can drive wherever we need to. I am also excited, although I am not looking forward to the drive.
You may want to try Bovines in Murrell%26#39;s Inlet. Great food and views.

It%26#39;s hard to avoid a seafood specialty in Myrtle Beach but here would be my choices.
Thoroughbreds Steakhouse or Rossi%26#39;s Italian Grill, both on Restaurant Row. Restaurant Row is on HWY 17 north of where you will be staying, I%26#39;m guessing a 25 minute drive maxx. Rossi%26#39;s would be my first choice for atmosphere and menu.
Also, we really like Greg Norman%26#39;s Australian Grill in Barefoot Landing. This is north again of Restaurant Row, off HWY 17 Great atmosphere! Nice specials, excellent food. Get a table overlooking the intercoastal waterway. And a meander around barefoot Landing is always relaxing.
If you want atmosphere and can tolerate a seafood specialty, you can%26#39;t beat the Gulfstream Cafe in Garden City, south of where you will be. They promise and deliver the best sunsets on the beach and the atmosphere, although a but noisy is candlelit, the food is excellent, and its position between Murrells Inlet and the ocean accounts for the spectacular sunsets. I often have steak or lamb there.

There is a really neat restaurant in Myrtle Beach called the Parson%26#39;s Table. It is in an old Methodist Church. I have never eaten there but have looked at it online and thought it was really interesting. Gets a good rating. Menu looks good too. Hope you find something that you enjoy.
If you like fondue the Melting Pot is great.
Chestnut Hill, Mayors House,Bovines or Parsons Table.
Just my opinion but my wife and I both disliked The Melting Pot and The Library.
We will be going to MB Oct 2 for 8 nights. Celebrating 10yr anniv. Have heard that Villa Romana is great Italian family run restaurant with romantic atmosphere and great food. That is where we plan to go for anniv. Congrats and have a great trip!
