Visiting Charleston for a few days beginning Sunday--what would be the closest sports bar to the Governor%26#39;s House on Broad St? Looking for a good place to watch our Steelers...

I would go a couple of blocks over to Market St and visit Mad River. Lots of TVs and a really big one.

I%26#39;d love to see #39 go for about 230 yards; he%26#39;s looking great so far this year and is due for another big game.

Sorry CH, but I have to disagree with you on this one.

I%26#39;ve been to my share of bars downtown, and KSG is my least favorite. It just doesn%26#39;t have a good feeling to me, and I%26#39;ve been there about 4 times. I wish I could explain it.

Well, I was going to say the food is less than good but isn%26#39;t that the place with TONS of tv%26#39;s and it%26#39;s usually pretty busy? (maybe I%26#39;m thinking of some place else!) If Margaritalady is going for the tv and not for the cuisine it might be ok.

I%26#39;m curious about your comment - anything you could identify? clientele or management or both?

I know that the layout is kind of weird - you don%26#39;t get a good interaction with other people. The food, the one time I had it, was not impressive at all.

They do have TVs, but as I recall they%26#39;re all relatively small.

I don%26#39;t know what it is, but I%26#39;ve given KSG enough opportunities and they just haven%26#39;t won me over.
