Weather in March

Spring break at Myrtle Beach! What to expect events and weather temperature.

Weather in March

Temps in March can be hard to pinpoint. I have been in March and had 90 degree days and I have been in March when it was in the 50%26#39;s. Typically it will be in the high 70%26#39;s during the day and in the 60%26#39;s at night but you also have the wind off the ocean which can make it feel cooler. The ocean water will not have warmed up yet. Crowd levels will be high but if you are staying at Ocean Blvd. you won%26#39;t be in Myrtle Beach so you won%26#39;t have to contend with the traffic as much.

Weather in March

I agree with formyjoy that the weather in March can be hit nd miss. We come down every March and we have seen the temps in the mmiddlr 80%26#39;s all the way the the upper 40%26#39;s. But most of majority of the times I have came in March it ha been between 60-75.

Last year we went to Gulf Shores AL and it was beautiful we were on the beach and in the ocean everyday of the trip (March 26 - April 02) but my daughter had some friends from school who went to Myrtle Beach that same week and they texted all week and they said it was very cool and the only swimming they did was in the indoor pool. They did walk on the beach during the day but that was all. Some other friends went to MB a week later and came back with great tans...

We are coming to Myrtle Beach Oct 5th and I have never been in the fall so we are hoping for some warm weather!

I think fall is almost perfect at MB. The daytime temps are still pretty high and then at night you can dress and not roast (like summer). Low humidity in the fall but the ocean and the ground are still warm from summer.

March IMO is more cool and rainy that warm and sunny. But it can be pleasant but the ocean will be very cold and majority of pools are not heated.

I am surprised that you think the majority of the pools aren%26#39;t heated. I find that most of the resorts I have researched recently have an indoor pool.
